^	IN BELATION TO 8ALABIE8 AND FEES.
Sec. 91. The officers of the city shall receive as compensate for their services, the following salaries, payable out of the*city treasury by warrant :
1.	The Secretary, two hundred and fifty dollars per annum,
2.	The Collector, five per cent, on all collections, to be retained by him in settlements^
3.	The Assessor, seven per centum upon the amount of his
assessments for his services; provided, that such compensation shall not be less than fifty dollars or more than one hundred dollars, to be paid on the completion and approval of the assessment rolls. ,	1	'•>
4.	The Treasurer shall be allowed two and o'ne-half per centum on all money received by him for city purposes, except what he may receive trom his predecessor in office. #,
5.	'The City Marshal, two hundred and forty dollars per annum.
6.	, .The Street Commissioner, eight dollars per month. V
Sec. 92. The Secretary and City Marshal shall be entitled to
demand, receive and take the several fees hereinafter mentioned and allowed for any business by them respectively done by virtue of their several offices, that is to say:

For copies or transcripts from the books of his office or other official papers per hundred words, ten cents.

Miscellaneous—In Relation to the Members or Boahd of Health.
Sec. 94. The Board of Health of tiie’City of Bay St. Louis shall be composed of the Mayor,, two physicians, one attorney-at-law, and one merchant, who shall be appointed by said Board, and shall hold their offices for two years, or until their successors in office are appointed, and vacancies shall be filled by the Board of Mayor and Aldermei^; said Board of Health shall be inv.ested with all necessary power to preserve and protect the health of said city, . to make quarantine* laws and to enforce the*same within two miles of said city, and if necessary they may order the provisions of chapter (to) ten of the revised ordinances of said city, to be strictly enforced.

Sec. 95. All violations of ordinances adopted by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen, shall be punished by fine not exceeding fifty dollars, or by imprisonment not exceeding thirty days, or both such fine and imprisonment, except where penalties are pre*^ scribed in these ordinances, whether the act prescribed or the ' non-performance of the duty required by such ordinance is ■ punishable as an offense against the laws of the State or not, and no property shall shall be exempt from sale for the fine and costs imposed by the Mayor.	,	.
