Donald Juneau
Mr. Juneau earned an LL.B. (juris doctor) degree in 1966 from Tulane University, and he is presently retained as attorney for the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe. He is quiet knowledgeable of the history of the tribe and worked with tribal leaders to gain federal recognition for the tribe. He was also one of the attorneys in the tribe's legal pursuit of the Tunica Treasure, which has recently been awarded to the Tunica-Biloxi. Mr. Juneau is also involved in the tribe's Land Claims Settlement negotiations along with attorneys from the Native American Rights Fund.
He has authored two publications pertinent to Indian jurisprudence and to the Tunica-Biloxi Indians in particular. These are:	1) The Judicial
Extinguishment of the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe, 9 So. L. Rev. 53 (1979); and 2) The Light of the Dead Stars, 11 American Indian Law Review (1983).
