Vic E. Lizana was the representative for the Fostoria Glass Company of Moundsvile, West Virginia, makers of fine crystal ware. Fostoria's traveling salesroom stopped in Bay St. Louis in 1932. The custom-built vehicle was built by the Curtis Aero Company of America. It contained a long display table on one side of the highly finished interior. A Settee on the other side was placed so that the buyer might be comfortable while making a selection. Below the counter were a number of wide and deep drawers containing closed-in silk upholstered trays upon which different sets of Fostoria glass were displayed. The van also contained electric lights, electric fans, and an intercom with which to communicate with the driver in the cab in front. (Echo, 1992, 11B)
