McMahon, Joanne D. - February 6, 1999
Joanne Decker McMahon, 48, of Bay St. Louis, died Monday, Feb 6, 1999 in Bay St. Louis.
Mrs. McMahon was a Catholic and a native of Maine. She was employed at the Bounty Restaurant, West End in New Orleans from 1975 until 1983. She was a three-year law student at the University of New Orleans and a resident of New Orleans from 1975 until 1994 when she moved to Bay St. Louis.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carroll Emen Decker; a son, Ziggy James McMahon; and a brother, Ronald Mark Harrington.
Survivors include her husband, Jeffrey Paul Morgan of Bay St. Louis; her mother Ruth Mitchell Harrington and step-father, Alton Gerald Harrington of Auburn, Maine; two sons, Todd Thomas Sprenger of Bay St. Louis and David John Teves of New Auburn, Maine; two brothers Carroll Emen Decker Jr. of Mechanic Falls, Maine and Alton Gerald Harrington Jr of Bay St. Louis; seven sisters, Simone Ann Morion of Danville, Maine, Diane Polly Brooks of Concord, N. C, Pamela Gene Hardy of Auburn, Bonnie Lou Fleury of Auburn, Roxanne Marie Default, of Oxford, Maine, Pennie Marie Harrington McGuire of Bay St. Louis, and Geraldine Ann Israel of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be today, Feb. Ll, 9-10 a.m. at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, followed by graveside services at Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis
A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, Feb. 20 in Auburn, Maine at the Baptist Church on Hotel Road.
