Richard F. Patterson, 68, of Bay St. Louis, died Wednesday, April 1, 1998, in Bay St. Louis
Mr. Patterson was a parts manager for an automotive business. A native of Oneonta, Ala., he was a member of Lakeshore Baptist church, Masonic Lodge 427, Bay St. Louis, and 32nd Degree Scottish Rite and Joppa Shrine in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil Eugene and Jewel C. Patterson.
Survivors include his wife, Violet Searcy Patterson of Bay St. Louis; a son, Richard F. Patterson Jr. Of Gulfport; a stepson, Kenneth E. Johns of Talladega, Ala; daughters Kathy Patterson of Decatur, Ala, Deborah Patterson Turner of Hartsville, Ala., and Violet Patterson Fricke of Bay St. Louis; a step-daughter, Jane Johns Cooley of Talladega, Ala.;and John Patterson of Russellville, Ala; sisters Loraine Smith of Atlanta, Ga. and Martha Patterson, 11 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Visitation will be today 6:30 -10 p. M., at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. Services will be conducted Monday, April 6 at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. There will also be a graveside service at 3 p.m. in Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi.
