Rive, Adolph - January 8, 1959
Adolph Rive, 60, of New Orleans and Bay St. Louis, died of a heart attack on Thursday, January 8, at 10:50 a. m. at his New Orleans residence 2921 Cambronne St.
Mr Rive's death came four days after that of his brother, Emile, who was his partner in the firm of Rive and Rive, a pipe organ company in New Orleans. Surivors include his widow, Margaret Williams Rive; son David C. Rive; a daughter, Mrs. John E. Worrel, of New Orleans; three sisters, Miss Elsa Rive and Mrs. Edward Huntington, of New Orleans and Mrs. Flora Rive Leonard, of New Orleans and Detroit, Michigan and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10 a. m. Friday from the Funeral Home of Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp, Inc., followed by Mass at Incarnate Word Church. Interment was in Metairie Cemetery.
