Shanahan, Carl E. - May 21, 1997
Carl E. Shanahan, 54, of Bay St. Louis, died Wednesday, May 21, 1997 in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Shanahan was a native of Jackson and a member of Shoreline Park Baptist Church. He was a resident of the Coast for 30 years and Prestiege Manager of the Meat Department at Winn-Dixie Food Store in Long Beach. He was a Vietnam Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Margaret Joyner Shanahan.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Necaise Shanahan of Bay St. Louis; a son, Eddie Shahahan Jr. of Bay St Louis; four brothers, David Shahahan of Perkinston, Jim Shahahan, John Shanahan, both of Jackson and Bill Shahahan of Peyton, Colo; and three sisters, Sarah Robertson of Jackson, Bobbie Damiens of Diamondhead, and Mary Parker of Waveland.
Services were conducted Saturday at Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, Burial was in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery.
