Stapler, Edwina - September 25, 1998
Edwina Staper, 69, of Bay St. Louis, died Friday, Sept 25, 1998, in Bay St. Louis.
Mrs. Staples was a native and longtime resident of New Orleans and resident of Bay St. Louis for the past 19 years. She was a personnel specialist for the U. S. Customs Agency.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis Edward and Helen Foley Magreevy.
Survivors include children David Miles Porter of Memphis, Tenn., Carol P. Giardina of New Orleans, Marsha P. Cassagne of Slidell and Joan P. Usner of Pearl River, La. Two sisters, Helen Claassen and Jane Bongard, both of New Orleans.
Visitation will be Saturday, Oct 3, at 9 a.m. at Honaker Funeral Home, 1751 Gause Boulevard West (in Forest Lawn Cemetery) in Slidell, followed by services at l p.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery
