Stokoe, Martha Rader - January 19, 1960
Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Rader Stokoe, 83, wife of the late A. L. Stokoe, were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from Rieman's Chapel in Gulfport,.
Services were conducted by Jack Strauss, first reader, First Church of Christ, Scientist, Gulfport. Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mrs. Stokoe died Tuesday morning, January 19, at the home of her niece Mrs. Annie Scott Moody, 127 Ocean Wave Avenue, Long Beach.
A native of Kentucky, Mrs. Stokoe resided in Bay St. Louis for a number of years; she and her late husband owned and operated the Bay Ice Factory prior to moving from here about 35 years ago.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Emma Lou Peterson, North Little Rock, Arkansas, and three nieces, Mrs. Moody, Mrs. A. L. Bollinger, Louisville, Ky., and Mrs. D. L. Russell, New Albany, Ind.
