Thigpen, Johnny Joe - September 1, 1997
Johnny Joe Thigpen, 33, of Kiln, died Sept 1, 1997 in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Thigpen was a carpenter in construction and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his father, Forest Thigpen Sr.
Survivors include a son, Walter Thigpen of Kiln; a daughter, Jennifer Thigpen of Kiln; his mother, Mandy Thigpen of Kiln; seven brothers, Herman Thigpen, Thomas Bilbo, David Thigpen and James Thigpen, all of Kiln, William Thigpen of Houston, Texas; Forrest Thigpen Jr. of Picayune and Patarick Thigpen of Waveland; theree sisters, Sue Lacoste, Nancy Ramsey and Linda Curtindale, all of Kiln.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. today at Shifalo Baptist Church in Kiln. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p. m. at the church, followed by services in Bayou Coco Cemetery in Kiln.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay ST. Louis is in charge or arrangements.
