Wainwright, David - December 5, 1998
David Hyran Wainwright, 93, of Waveland, died Saturday, Dec. 5, 1998 in Waveland.
Mr. Wainwright was a retired owner-operator of a sawnill. He was a native of Bayou La Croix and was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Waveland.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Iona Sones Wainwright; parents, George Henry and Rose Nixon Wainwright; brothers Lorenzo Wainwright and George Albert Wainwright; sisters Ellen E. Ladner, Laura A. Ladner, Nora Little,Eliza Barletter and Veda Miller; and numerious nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Wednesday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Waveland folllowed by services. Burial was in Bayou La Croix Cemetery.
Riemann Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis was in charge of arrangements.
