Bourgeois, Eloise Lux - December 5, 1906
After an illness of several weeks from pneumonia and suffering a relapse, Mrs. Eloise Lux, wife of the late Vallery Bourgeois, died at her home in Waveland Sunday evening, aged 77 years, a native of Bay St. Louis. The funeral took place on Monday afternoon from the Church of our Lady of the Gulf, Rev. Father Prendergast officiating.
The remains were followed to the last resting place at St. Mary's Cemetery by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives, friends and acquaintances, including the members of the Ladies' Minerva Mutual and Aid Association, of which the deceased was a member.
Mrs. Bourgeois is survived by five children, namely: Vallery Bourgeois, Mrs. Aline Bourgeois Mattingly, of Lexington, Ky.; Elmer Bourgeois, Joseph Bourgeois, of Lexington, Ky.; and Amedee Bourgeois.
