Willis, Lawrence - December 4, 1999
Maj. Lawrence H. Willis, 67, of Bay St. Louis, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 1999 in Gulfport.
Mr Willis was a native of Fairmont, W.V. and a resident of Bay St. Louis for the past eight years. He was of the Pentecostal faith and was employed by the Hancock County Sheriff's Department as a warden. He was a member of Americn Legion Post 139, Bay St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence H. And Lillian Ford Willis, Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Helen J. Willis of Bay St. Louis; 11 children, 17 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He is also survived by numerous sisters and brothers.
Visitation was Tuesday at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis followed by services in the funeral home chapel and a graveside service in Restlawn Park Cemetery in Avondle, La.
