Lissa, Jeannette - August 30, 1895
There died last night at 6:55 o'clock, in Bay St. Louis, a most remarkable woman noted for her determination, energy and successful business financieering in the person of Mrs. Lissa, wife of the late Simon Lissa and mother of Mrs. Robert C. Engman of this place.
The deceased owned more property in Bay St. Louis than any one else, and this wealth was all amassed by industry and shrewd business foresight. Tne remains will leave here tomorrow morning for New Orleans, the deceased's last resting place.
