Whitfield, Evan Van, Sheriff - September 23, 1962
--On Sunday morning September 23, 1962, at 3:25 o'olock A. M.., at Jackson, Miss., Mr. E. VAN WHITFIELD, father of Mrs. M. J. Dodd of Jackson, Miss.; brother of Mrs. Irene Mayer of Cagon, Calif., Barney Whitfield of Picayune, Miss., and T. D. Whitfield of Columbia, Miss., also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, age 86 years, a resident of Pascagoula, Miss, for 6 years.
Relatives and friends of the family, are invited to attend the funeral.
Services from the funeral home of Pat J. McMahon-Coburn Co., 2305 Canal St. corner N. Miro.
Interment St. Louis No. 2 cemetery, due notice of time will be given.
