Fayard, Herman J. - March 15, 1995
Mr. Herman J. (Pete) Fayard, 86, of Bay St. Louis, died Wednesday, March 15, 1995, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Fayard was a native of Bay St. Louis and a retired butcher with Jitney Jungle. He was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, the American Legion Post No. 139, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3253 in Bay St. Louis and the Order of Purple Heart.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Ladner Fayard, his parents, Henry T. and Louise E. Gazzo Fayard; a brother, Elton J. Fayard; and three sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Ziegler, Mrs. Ildred Hart and Mrs. Emma Fischer.
Survivors include two brothers; Henry T. Fayard Jr. of Biloxi and Robert J. Fayard of Bay St. Louis; three sisters, Mrs. Emelda Kearney of Durham, NC, Mrs. Eunice Tourne of Gulfport and Mrs. Mercedes Sawyer of Lafayette, La.
Visitation was Friday night at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home.
