Perrot, Elwin W. Sr.  -  June 18, 2000

Elwin W. Perrot Sr., 66, of Bay St. Louis, died Sunday, June 18, 2000, in Bay St. Louis.

Mr. Perrot was a native of New Orleans, LA, and a resident of Bay St. Louis. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bay St. Louis, the American Legion Post 139 of Bay St. Louis, and Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge No. 59 in New Orleans, LA. He was retired from the City of Bay St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Joseph Perrot Sr. and Elizabeth Cortie Perrot; three brothers, Charles Perrot Jr, John Lewis Perrot and Edward Molier; and five sisters, Audrey Glover, Alicia Miller, Patricia Sprouce, Mary Thornton and Yvonne Guilbeau.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Favre Perrot of Bay St. Louis; two sons and daughters-in-law, Elwin and Gwendolyn Perrot of Bay St. Louis and Daniel and Bonnie Perrot of Houston, TX; a daughter and son-in-law, Alicia Perrot and James "Bee" Toups of Houma, LA; a sister Elizabeth Mathews of New Orleans, LA. Also survived by seven grandchildren, Brant Gauthreaux, Elwin (Chase) Perrot III, Beau Toups, Christian Perrot, Britney Gauthreaux, Lainey Perrot, Danielle Perrot and a host of nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Monday, June 19, 2000, from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. at the Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. A 10 a.m. prayer service will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2000, at the funeral home chapel with burial in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis.
