Reinike, Gloria Seymour  -  June 25, 2000

Gloria Seymour Reinike died Sunday, June 25, 2000.

A native of Gulfport she had been a resident of Bay St. Louis for 50 years. Mrs. Reinike was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church and longtime supporter of St. Augustine's Seminary where she served as a Eucharistic minister.

A member of the local business community for over thirty years as a partner in Lone Pine Nursery and Redglo Ceramics, she was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Post 139.

She was preceded in death by her husband, R.J. "Red" Reinike; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Seymour; her sister, Marie Woodcock; and her brothers, Eurise and Alton Seymour.

This gracious and caring woman, Mrs. Reinike, is survived by her only child Gloria Michael Cuevas; her son-in-law, Samuel A. Cuevas; her grandson, Joseph Reinike Cuevas; and her granddaughter, Katherine Cuevas Breath; her husband Charles A. Breath IV; and her great-grandson, Charles Anthony Breath, all of Bay St. Louis. Her sister, Mrs. Eolia S. Brown of Gulfport also survives her.

Final arrangements include a memorial Mass to celebrate Mrs. Reinike's life at 2 p.m. from the St. Augustine Seminary, located in Bay St. Louis, on Tuesday, June 27, 2000, followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bay St. Louis. Relatives and friends may call one hour prior to service time.

The family prefers donations to the Hancock County Library System to establish a diabetes information and resource center in Mrs. Reinike's name, in lieu of flowers.

Arrangements are being handled by Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis.
