Burns, Joanne Blanchard - April 14, 1999
Joanne Blanchard Burns, 65, of Waveland, died Wednesday, April 14, 1999 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Burns was a native of New Orleans and a lifelong resident of Waveland. She was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Suezinau and Mary Tira Sbisa Blanchard Sr.
Survivors include her husband, Wallace A. Burns Sr. Of Waveland; three sons, Wallace a. Burns Jr. of Brandon, Miss., Timothy V. Burns of Bay St. Louis and David M. Burns of Waveland; a daughter, Julianne Burns Bartlett of Slidell; two brohers, Albert J. Blanchard of Lake Charles, La., and Joseph S. Blanchard Jr. Of River Ridge, La; six sisters, Suzanne B. Faust and Marianne B. Cole, both of Waveland, Dianne B. Grace of Plaquemine, La., Sister Julianne Blanchard, DC of New Orleans, Anne B. Morvant of Covingtson and Patricia Anne B. Shuler of New Orleans; eight grandchildren and 34 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Friday evening at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Saturday in St. Clare Church followed by interment in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
