Ruello, Warren Charles Sr. - August 18, 2000
Warren Charles Ruello Sr., 85, died Friday, Aug. 18, 2000, in Gulfport.
Mr. Ruello was born Dec 11, 1914, in New Orleans and was a 1932 graduate of Jesuit High School. He was a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy and served as a primary flight instructor during World War II. He had been a resident of Diamondhead for 18 years and was a retired cotton merchant for J.P. Stevens Company.
Survivors include his wife, Althea de Latour Ruello; a sister, Ruther Ruello Brown; six children, Maren Casano of Diamondhead, Jean Cranmer of New Orleans, Warren Charles Ruello, Jr. of Rockville, MD, Lynn McManus of Atlantic Beach, FL, Robert Allen Ruello of Pass Christian and Donna Samolyk of Atlanta; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lake Lawn Funeral Home in New Orleans with a service to follow at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Mausoleum.
