Smith, Walter Stanley - September 26, 2000
Walter Stanley Smith, 99, died Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2000, in Pass Christian.
Mr. Smith was a native of Lima, Ohio, and a longtime resident of Waveland. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Bay St. Louis and was a member of the Bay St. Louis Rotary.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Van Wormer Smith; and his parents, Frank C. and Ella Beidermann Smith.
Survivors include a daughter, Sondra S. Patty of Destin, FL; a sister, Dorothy Smith Evans of Lima; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Christ Episcopal Church in Bay St. Louis. Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
