Plauche, James Joseph Jr. - September 28, 2000
James Joseph Plauche Jr, age 74, died Thursday, September 28, 2000, at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans.
Mr. Plauche was born on June 15, 1926.
He was graduated from Tulane UniversitySchool of Business and later owned and operated Corinne Dunbar's Restaurant from 1956 until 1988 when he retired to his home in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Joseph Plauche, Sr., and Adele Flower Plauche, and his sister, Marion Plauche Colomb.
Survivors include his sister, Elizabeth Plauche Gould of Pass Christian, Mississippi; his brother, Walter Plauche of New Orleans, Louisiana; his brother, Edouard Plauche of Mandeville, Louisiana; 16 nieces and nephews; and his companion of 42 years, Charles Gray of Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi.
Burial service will be private.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
