Sarrat, Allan J. - December 23, 2002
Allan J. Sarrat, a retired sales engineer and marine superintendent, died Monday at his son's home in Perry, GA. He was 78. Mr. Sarrat was born in New Orleans and lived many years in both Bay St. Louis and in Houma, LA. He graduated from St. Aloysius High School in New Orleans and was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Houma, LA.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn LeBoeuf Sarrat; a son, Allan J. Sarrat, Jr. of Perry; three sisters, Marguerite Roach and Audrey Farrell of New Orleans and Helen Schindler of Covington; three grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A Mass was said at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Perry.
Mr. Sarrat and his wife, Marilyn LeBoeuf Sarrat were interred together at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, in St. Louis Cemetery Number 3, New Orleans, LA.
