Sawatzki, Leo Marvin - February 3, 2006
Leo Marvin Sawatzki, 69 of Bay St. Louis, MS died on Friday, February 3, 2006 in Gulfport, MS. He was born on December 7, 1936 in Saginaw, MI and has been a resident of Bay St. Louis, MS for the past 24 years. He was a member of St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS. Leo was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army during the Korea Conflict.
He is preceded in death by his father, Leo Frank Sawatzki.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Hamlin Sawatzki of Bay St. Louis, MS; his sons, Mark Sawatzki of Houston, TX, James Sawatzki of Saginaw, MI, John Sawatzki of Saginaw, MI, and Richard Welch of Utah; his daughter, Leeann Harvey of Saginaw, MI; mother, Grace Sawatzki of Saginaw, MI; and his brothers, Harold, Tim, and Terry Sawatzki all of Saginaw, MI. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, numerous aunts and nieces and nephews.
The visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2006 from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at St. Rose de Lima Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, MS. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Bay St. Louis, MS.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis, MS is in charge of the arrangements.
