Obituary Record

Marilyn LeBoeuf Sarrat, age 84, passed away Friday evening, July 2, 2010, at Summerhill Senior Living Community in Perry, GA, surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Sarrat was born and raised in New Orleans, LA, and was also a resident of Bay St. Louis MS, Houma, LA, and most recently Perry, GA.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Allan Sarrat, Sr., and her parents, Douglas Anthony LeBoeuf and Thelma Brugier LeBoeuf. She is survived by one son, Allan Sarrat, Jr. and his wife, Margaret of Perry, GA; three grandchildren: Stacy Sarrat Gibbs and her husband, Greg, of Marietta, GA; A.J. Sarrat III and his wife, Monica, of Temecula, CA; and Alison Sarrat Weldon and her husband, Jay of Albany, GA. She is also survived by four great-granddaughters: Claire and Anna Gibbs of Marietta, GA, and Maila and Zoey Sarrat of Temecula, CA.

Mrs. Sarrat was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church of Kathleen, GA.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to her loving caregivers both at Summerhill and Heart of Georgia Hospice. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Family will greet friends after the service. Interment will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, in St. Louis Cemetery Number 3, New Orleans, LA.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make a memorial gift to the St. Patrick Building Fund or Heart of Georgia Hospice.
