Arnold, Carl A.  -  March 29, 1998

Mr. Carl A. Arnold, 85, of Bay St. Louis, died Sunday, March 29, 1998, in Bay St. Louis.

Mr. Arnold was a retired superintendent of utilities for the City of Bay St. Louis. He was a member of Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church in Bay St. Louis, was a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, a member of Pere le Duc Council 1522 in Bay St. Louis, was past Grand Knight for the Knights of Columbus and was past Faithful Navigator for the Fourth Degree. Mr. Arnold was a past district chairman of the Boy Scouts and served in the Boy Scouts for 40 years. He was a charter member of the Bay-Waveland Elks, past member of the Waveland Civic Association and past member of the Bay Waveland Rotary.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola Dubuisson Arnold; a son, Dennis Arnold; his parents, Alfred J. Armold Sr. And Stella Dillmann Arnold; two brothers, Alfred J. Arnold Jr. And James Arnold; and three sisters, Irma Carrio, Leah Lang and Gertude Willard.

Survivors include two sons, Carlos A. Arnold Sr. of Bay St. Louis and Al L. Arnold of Waveland; two daughters, Phyllis M. Arnold of New Orleans and Sheila Rines of Indianapolis; a sister, Mildred Arnold of Bay St. Louis; 18 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Tuesday evening at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay ST. Louis. Mass was celebrated Wednesday at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Burial followed in St. Mary Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
