Mrs. Joseph Asher (Mary Rebecca Garcia) died Friday January 24. at the age of 78 years at her residence on highway 90, Bay St. Louis. Born Jan. 28, 1880, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Garcia.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph Asher; ten children, John Joseph Asher, Curtis Asher, Prentice Asher, Mrs. Jerome Carver. Mrs. Emily Schubert, Picayune, Mrs. L. L. Lee, Mrs. Rufus Luxich. Mrs Thomas Layne, Mrs. George Spiers, Picayune; Mrs. M. D. Miller, Lamarque, Texas.
Eight brothers and one sister, 41 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
