Mary Ella Davis, 79, of Waveland, died Saturday, July 18, 1998 in Bay St. Louis
Mrs. Davis was a native of Knoxville, Miss. And was a member of ST. Mark Baptist Church on Knoxville and Mt. Chapel Baptist Church in Waveland. She was a member of Eastern Star.
Survivors include four daughters, Clara M. Lewis, Hazel Vaughn, both of Waveland, Willie Mae Lewis of Biloxi and Peggy A. Vaughn of Bay St. Louis; two brothers, Willie McNiel of Natchez, Miss,, and James McNiel of Gulfport; four sisters, Bertha Jackson, Mabel Dunbar, Rosie Lee Washington, Annie Mae Harris, all of Natchez; 30 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, July 24, 6-8 p.m. in Mount Chapel Baptist Church in Waveland. Funeal services will be conducted Saturday, July 25 at l p.m. in St. Mark Baptist Church in Knozville. Burial will be in St. Mark Baptist Cemetery.
Baylous Funeral Home in Picayune is in charge of arrangements.
