Baldenhofer, Carl - July 11, 1996
Carl Baldenhofer died July 11, 1996 in Bay St. Louis.
Family and friends attended Lutheran Church of the Pines on Highway 90 in Waveland for the service on what would have been Baldenhofer's 90th birthday. Baldenhofer had been a member of the church for about a year before his death.
Baldenhofer was a charter member of the Hancock County RSVP, and taught art to people of all ages. He held art classes at the Waveland Civic Center and the senior citizens center.
A former soft drink bottler, Baldenhofer began painting in the early 1940's. He later took art classes after moving to the Gulf Coast. Rev. Vernon R. Knight officiated at the memorial service.
