Fayard, Edna Heimel - September 1, 1961
Mrs. Edna Heimel Fayard, 77, died at 5:30 A. M. Friday in Bay St. Louis. She was the wife of the late Emile Winters, Sr., by first marriage and the late Peter Gordon Fayard, Sr., by second marriage.
Survivors include three sons, Emile Winters and Alvin Winters, both of New Orleans; and Peter Gordon Fayard, Jr., Mobile, Ala.; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard Hursey, Slidell, La.; Mrs. Oswald Carver and Mrs. Howard Carver, both of Bay St. Louis; a sister, Mrs. Lizzie Fogarty, New Orleans; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The funeral was held from the Fahey-Whitfield Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis this morning. Interment was in the Fayard Cemetery in Waveland.
