Fayard, Marshall J.  -  November 4, 1957

Marshall J. Fayard, 46, secretary-treasurer of the newly organized Jefferson Davis Life Insurance Co., which has headquarters in Biloxi, died at his home at 413 West Bradford St., Biloxi, at 11:15 P. M. Monday following a heart attack 17 days ago.

Mr. Fayard was a native of Bay St. Louis and had been in Biloxi 40 years. He was manager of the Southern Life and Health Insurance Co. at Biloxi until he resigned July 1 to work on the organization of the new company. He had been connected with the Southern Life for 23 years.

Mr. Fayard, a former member of the Biloxi School Board, was a member of the Businessmen's Club, Magnolia Lodge of Masons and other Masonic bodies, Back Bay Fire Co., and Revelers, Biloxi Hunting and Fishing Club.

He is survived by his wife, Helen Ibele Fayard and six children, Marshall Joseph and David Michael, and four daughters, Miss Mary Edna Fayard, Biloxi; Mrs. Jerry Hines, who is with her husband in Japan; Miss Maxine Helen and Miss Deanna Fayard; mother Mrs. Edna Fayard, New Orleans; two brothers, Russell, Greenville, and Frank, [...]
