Hanrahan, Lawrence - April 20, 1999
Lawrence E. Hanrahan, 96, of Waveland, died Tuesday, April 20, 1999, in Bay St. Louis.
Mr. Hanrahan was a native of Long Beach and a resident of Waveland for the past 15 years. He was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church where he served as an usher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ellen Bayley Hanrahan; four brothers, John Hanrahan, William Hanrahan, Sidney Hanrahan and Andrew Hanrahan; and a sister, Lucy Hanrahan.
He was the uncle and surrogate father of Andrew Hanrahan of New Orleans and Sidney Hanrahan of Picayune; two nieces, Ellen Palmer of Gulfport and Margaret Kern of Mandeville, La. He is also survived by many grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated today at 11 a.m. at St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland, followed by a graveside service at 2 p.m. in St. Patrick Cemetery No. 2 in New Orleans.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
