Hayden, Wolford, Jr. - December 3, 1999
Wolford A. Hayden, 79, of Waveland, died Friday, Dec 3, 1999 in Slidell.
Mr. Hayden was a native of Pass Christian and had been a resident of Waveland for the past 17 years. He was a charter member of VFW Post 5931 in Pass Christian and was retired from International Lubricant Company, Jefferson Parish, La. He was a member of St. Clare Catholic Church in Waveland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wolford A. And Margaret Donlin Hayden Sr.; three brothers, James W. Hayden, Joseph C. Hayden and Lindberg F. Hayden; and wo sisters, Isabelle S. Hayden and Elizabeth Hayden.
Survivors include his wife, Gloria S. Hayden of Waveland; a stepson, Eugene E. Stanson of Gretna; four brothers, Will Rogers Hayden, Christian D. Hayden, Gerald R. Hayden and John F. Hayden, all of Pass Christian; and two step-grandchildren.
Mass was celebrated Monday at St. Clare Ctholic Church followed by interment in Gulf Coast Memorial Cemetery and Mausoleum in Bay St. Louis.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis was in charge of arrangements.
