Jeffery, Herbert W. - June 1, 1999
Herbert W. Jeffery, 81, died Tuesday, June 1, 1999, in Waveland.
Mr. Jeffery was a native of Chester, Pa., and a longtime resident of Waveland. He was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church in Bay St. Louis and was a Mason, Past Master, Ashland, Pa., Lodge No. 294 F & A. M.; a member of Gulfport York Rite Body-Life Sponsor of Knights Templar Eye Foundation; Shriner, Jopps Temple, a member of American Legion Post 77, Voiture National 40 & 8, Waveland; a charter and life member of BPOE Lodge 978, Gulfport; and he was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl W. And Almeda Klinger Jeffery.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Kaufman Jeffery of Waveland; a son, Miles Jeffery of Bruce, Miss; a daughter MiMi Jeffery Rhodes of Bay St. Louis; a brother, John G. Jeffery of Durange, Colo; a sister, Shirley J. Rehmann of Severna Park, Md; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 6, 1-2:30 p.m. Main Street Unitd Methodist
Church in Bay St. Louis, followed by funeral services. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Bay St. Louis.
Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis is in charge of arrangements.
