Jordan, Alice M. - February 9, 1999
Alice McCormack Jordan, 86, of Diamondhead, died Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1999, in Bay St. Louis.
Mrs. Jordan was a member of St Williams Catholic Church in Hancock County. She was a native of St. Louis, Mo and had resided in Diamondhead for the past three years. She was a former singer and dancer with the St. Louis Mini Opera . She was also a member of the Ladies of Charity in Nashville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo John Jordan, her parents, Thomas Patrick and Katie O'Donovan McCormack; a brother, Thomas McCormack; sisters Mary Dowd, Catherine Sullivan, Arline O'Brien and Lucille Royker and a granddaughter, Brenda Brandenburg.
Survivors include a son, Leo J. Jordan Jr. of Diamondhead; three daughters, Patricia Brandenburg of Diamondhead,
Survivors include a son, Leo J. Jordan Jr. Of Diamondhead; three daughters, Patricia Brandenburg of Diamondhead, Nancy O'Hare of Friendswood, Texas; and Mary Jane Tohill of Goodlettsville, Tenn.; a sister, Helen Murphy of San Diego, Calif.; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was Wednesday evening at Edmond Fahey Funeral Home in Bay St. Louis. A Requiem Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Feb 13, at 10 a.m. in the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville, Tenn. With burial following in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville.
