Lafitte, Irma - May 14, 1998
Irma Ary Lafitte, 88, died Thursday, May 14, 1998.
Mrs. Lafitte was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Waveland for the past 30 years.
She was the wife of the late James Lafitte; mother of Rosemary L. Elliott of Eilson, N. C. And James Joseph Lafitte Jr. Of New Orleans; sister of Elsie LaBarbera of New Orleans and Althea Start of Pearl River, La. Survivors also include four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a great-great grandson.
Visitation was May 15 at Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home in New Orleans. Graveside services followed at Cypress Grove Cemetery.
