BAY ST. LOUIS MARINA PHASE I FACILITIES DESCRIPTION
PROPOSAL "A"
LAUNCHING RAMPS
Four launching ramps will be provided with two wooden piers. Each pier will serve 2 launching ramps. The ramps will be constructed of concrete with a 15 foot apron in front. They will extend underwater to facilitate loading and unloading of boats.
LANDWARD PARKING
Adjacent to the launching ramps space will be provided for 45 car-and-trailers and 70 car-only spaces.
CHANNEL TO DEEP WATER
Dredging will be undertaken to allow boats maneuvering room around the launching ramp and a clear (minimum 6 ft. deep) channel to deeper water at the mouth of the Bay.
FISHING PIER
The existing pier will be upgraded through the addition of lighting and water service. Lights will be added to provide lighting above the pier for users and under the pier to improve the fishing at night.
SEAWARD PARKING
A paved parking lot will be created to provide 58 spaces for persons using the fishing pier and other boat launch facilties.
BEACH SHELTERS

Four beach shelters will be constructed along the shore line to provide space for picrtic tables and barbecue pits. Water service will be provided with a water fountain for each shelter.
LIGHTING
Lighting will be provided around the launching ramps and to illuminate both parking lots.
