Genealogical Library
The L.W. Anderson Genealogical Library, located in temporary headquarters behind the old Hancock General Hospital, Dunbar Avenue, Bay St. Louis is now being set up. Checking out the facilities recently were, from left, Hancock Supervisor Howard Lizana, Pat Cucullu, Buz Olsen, Anne Anderson, daughter of L.W. Anderson; Bay Councilman Tad Black; and Hancock County Historical Society president Charles Gray. The library is scheduled to be located at the old depot after renovations. Bound materials at the library include records from over 30 states, with concentration on official birth, marriage, obiturary, probate, cemetery, Bible, land and military records.
