Boulevard between Sycamore and Bookter Streets, dating from the mid-1840s, is in the Greek Revival style. A separate kitchen and dining area is connected to the house by a walkway.
?Four row houses in the second block of Ballentine, dating from the mid-1800s, are notable according to Wagner because of their relationship to each other and because they obviously were inhabited by members of a lower social class but the presence of porches facing the street indicates a social importance in their lives.
?Main Street United Methodist Church, circa 1905-10, is in the Carpenter Gothic style. The same style can be seen throughout Mississippi, being built by traveling teams of carpenters, Wagner said.
?The W.A. McDonald house at the comer of McDonald Lane and Beach Boulevard, circa 1845-50, is ?a quintessential example of a high Victorian mansion.?
?Hancock Bank Building, Beach Boulevard and Main Street, dates from about 1905, and is an example of a neoclassical business building.
?Bay St. Louis City Hall, circa 1907, is in the classical revival style. It originally had a ?marvelous cupola? that was destroyed in Hurricane Camille.
?A group of houses in the 300 block of Main Street, including Wagner?s office and the home of Dr. Larry Heller, are typical of a working man?s cottage or Creole cottage. On the outside, they remain much
the same as when built, according to Wagner.
?The first house to the north of Sycamore Street on the Beach, allegedly was built at the 1885 New Orleans World Exposition, billed as ?the house? for the contemporary businessman. According to the story, the house was barged to its present location after the exposition.
?The Brignac Home, 920 South Beach, is the only home in Bay St. Louis in the Prairie style inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright.
?Wagner said he regrets no Waveland structures were included in his list. Hurricane Camille had claimed all of that city?s fine architecture.
Waveland City Hall is likely the only notable building in the city, he said.
