Experienced hands weave beauty
Bay St. .Louis native, 84-year-old Camille Schwartz learned the art of tatting to make lace when she was a very young girl. She spends Tuesdays through Sundays at her daughter's business, Beryl?s Flea Market on Hwy. 90, creating the delicate needlework. Schwartz welcomes the opportunity to pass on the art form to anyone who has the interest to learn, at no cost. ?Come sit and visit,? invites Schwartz. Beryl sells the handmade lace by the yard and as finished pieces. (Echo staff photo by Jacqui Cochran)
