paid, which said register said Secretary is hereby directed to keep. The redemption money so received, the said Secretary shall pay over to those entitled to receive it. All conveyances not canceled as aforesaid, shall after the expiration of said year, be by said Secretary, on demand, delivered to the parties entitled thereto.
Sec. 57. After the expiration of the one year from the day of sale allowed for redemption, such lands as have been sold to the city and not, redeemed, shall be subject to purchase by any person, and the same may be so purchased by paying to the Secretary of the city the amount of taxes for which the same was sold, and all costs incident to such sale, and all taxes and costs accrued thereon since saidYsale, and ten per cent, on the amount for which the same was sold, and upon such payment to him the Secretary of the city shall execute to the purchaser a conveyance of the title of the city under his hand .and city seal; with due acknowledgment, the fee for which acknowledgment shall be included in tjie purchase price thereof, which conveyance shall be in the following form, to wit:

Sec. 58. The Assessor and Collector shall present to the

■Board of Mayor and Aldermen at a meeting on the first Saturday in April in each year a report of all insolvent and delinquent taxpayers in said city, with the amount due irom each, which report shall be verified by the written affidavit of the said Assessor and • Collector that he has made in person, a legal demand of taxes of all delinquent tax payers found in said city, by' going to their places of abode or business, and searching for something to seize and sell for taxes; that the tax-payers mentioned in said report have failed to pay their taxes and have no effects known to him which can be made to pay the same, and that he has made'dili-gent inquiry after such of said delinquents as have not been found,
^ and that they have no effects known to him. which can be made to pay their taxes. The Board shall proceed to examine the report so made as aforesaid, and shall allow the Assessor and Collector a credit for such of the taxes so reported insolvent as -they may be satisfied rapain uncollected, and said allowance so made shall be a ^dit to him in his final settlement in the collection of taxes.
Sec. 59. The Board shall also allow the said Assessor and Collector, and credit him with the amount of taxes on all lands sold to the city, all lands held by the State for taxes within said ’ city, and with the legal fees for the advertisement of such lands ' for sale, and fee of acknowledgment to conveyances made to the city.
ARTICLE III—Privilege Tax.

Sue, 60. There is hereby levied a tax on privileges as follows;"
1.	On each establishment where goods, wares and merchan- ' dise are sold, where the stock in trade never exceeds two tb'pu-. sand dollars, two dollars and fifty cents,

Where the stock sometimes exceeds thirty-five hundred dollars, but never five thousand dollars, seven dollars and fifty cents.

•	2. On each cab, cart or wagon, including	bread,	milk,	gro-
cery, vegetable, oyster, ice-cream, fruit and fish used for profit or hire, three dollars and seventy-five cents.
All persons who bring into the city limits',the productions*of their own farms, shall have the privilege of peddling the same in vehicles through the streets of the city* and not be subject to the-.-licenses or fines prescribed by the ordipances of this city,* but-each and every person who shall buy &nd sell again any productions as above mentioned, shall be subject to all the licenses, fines and ordinances prescribed in such cases,
3.	On each furniture or express wagon,\ eight dollars and fifty,,
