To The People of Hancock County:
This publication has been prepared to familiarize you with your community hospital.
We have had a successful year because of the wonderful support, cooperation and assistance that you have given us. Economy of operations throughout the year has been stressed and, by an increased patient load, we were fortunate not to incur any deficit in the year's operation. It might be of interest to note that no increase in tax millage was needed for the new hospital.
Our program for the coming year is to continue rendering tender, loving care at the lowest possible cost and on a sound business-like basi s.
We wish to give special thanks to the volunteer workers of the Hospital Ladies Auxiliary for their time, enthusiasm and their active support of our hospital.
Again, we thank all of you who have helped us during the past year with your gifts, kind words, assistance and. most of all, your patience
Respectfully yours,
