Owned by Dr. and Mrs. Robert P. Akers of Bay St. Louis, this pink, West Indian style home, known both as the Spanish House and the Old Customs House, is located at 707 Hancock, Bay St. Louis, and is visible from the Beach Road. The house is 200 years old and has 14 inch thick brick walls and hand-hewn cypress beams. The original owner was Hyacinth Caron.
