The Chr* of tho Go$m. on Streets and Bridges reported to the Board vorball on the condition of Streets and Bridges and on notion of Aid* Shropshire seconded by Aid Toulme and duly adopted by the Board the report too received*
The petition of C. Hoffman to retai vinoufl aba spirituous liquors 1 less quantities than one gallon within the City limits at a place on Hain Street called The Office was received. It appearing to tho satisfaction of the Boar that the number of petitioners there on constitutes a majority of the registered voters of the City. On notion of Aid. Shropshire seconded by Aid. Ladner and duly carried by the Board said petition was received and o rdered to lie over for thirty days*
