Tho Board of Mayor and Aldernen of the City of Bay St, Louio net at tho City Ha' In Ba y St, ^ouls on Tuesday, Ilarch 6th, 1083 There were present, August Keller, Mayor, H.E,Shropshire, Aldernan, J.V.Toulme, I, Robira, E, Ladner, Aldermen, C.H.McShan, Marshal, H,V.Wilkinson, Secy,-—The minutes of tho previous noot-ing were read, on notion of Aid. Shropshire, seconded "by Id. Toulne and duly subscribed and carriod by the Board were approved.
The report of John Estapa, City Treasurer showing a statement of the City
Treasury of the City, and containing a balance In cash on hand of $ 202.84^, Fjt

Finance Conniitteo a s correct, pnd on notion of Aid. Toulme, seconded by Aid
Ladner and submitted to and carried by the Board was received and ordered filed
The Marshal and Secretary were instructed and given notice by the Board to
have their reports of fines and disposition of dan© ready for examination at
the next regular meeting.
The following resolution was approved by Aid, Shropshire, to-wit*

A Id. Shropshire moved that the oxfioe of Street Conrissloner bo abol shed, Aid. Ladner seconded the nfttion, and on submission of tho question Aid. Shropshire, Ladner and Toulne voted Aye and Aid. Robira voter no, and the Mayor declared the motion carried and the offioe abolished.
The following ordlnr.noe was introduced, and tho passage of sane moved by Aid. Shropshire to-wit: Sec . 1 Be it ordalnod by the Board of Mayor and Aid. of tho City of Bay St. «,ouis, That hereafter it ehnll be unlawful for any pers to peddle articles of any description on the Railroad platfom in said city unless they shall hold a permit from the Mayor who shall Issue the said per-nijs free of charge Provided the Mayor nay revoke the same at any tine.
