Registration information on the forthcoming joint annual meeting of the Mississippi Historical Society and the Louisiana Historical Association has not yet been mailed by the Louisiana Association. You may, however, wish to suggest to your members that they proceed with reserving their hotel rooms, which must be reserved prior to February 20, 1987. The hotel is the Holiday Inn/Crowne Plaza, and reservations may be made by calling (504) 525-9444, or writing the hotel at 333 Poydras, New Orleans, Louisiana 70130. We have been quoted rates of $55 single and $65 double, and individuals attending the meeting should state their association with either of the two organizations.
