Beautification award goes to Exxon manager

John Binegar, owner oi[ an Exxon service station on U.S. 90 at Mississippi 603 in Hancock County, has been named the first recipient of the Bav-Waveland Garden Club's beautification award to businesses.
He was presented a plaque which he placed next to a fountain at his scrvice station. Mrs. Lelyn Naby, garden club president, and Mrs. Dan M.
Russell Jr., civic development chairman, made the presentation.
Binegar was chosen for his contributions fo the beauty of the area as part of a continuing- project to improve the two citys’ image. The award was not Bmegar’s first. He has been recognized for several years by the Humble Oil Company for his beautification efforts.
