Biloxi, Kiss., August 7, 1901 --
At a meeting of the City Council August 6, 1901. Krs. Sarah Kuhn, for and in consideration of the sum of 5 cents, deeded to the City of Biloxi a plot of ground nearly *+00 feet square, to be used as a public ground for the benefit of the public generally as a resort, or as a playground for the children of Biloxi.
It was conditioned that if it was ever used for any other purpose, it would revert back to the owner or her heirs.
This vill give Biloxi the first park she has ever had, and doubtless the city authorities vill take some steps to beautify and adorn it, and make it attractive.
Krs. Kuhn’s philanthropy is thoroughly appreciated by all the citizens of Biloxi, and it is hoped her generous gift vill inspire some wealthy person to present the city vith a park on the beach
