Become a member of the Hancock County Historical Society
The Historical Society is a non profit organization comprised of civic minded individuals who volunteer a considerable amount of time and effort to research, document, and present the History of Hancock County.
The society has monthly luncheon meetings, each with a different guest speaker. In addition each month an exceptional newsletter " The Historian of Hancock County" is published. Its Editor Ms.
Edith Back and Publisher Charles Gray cover a variety of topics. Included with the monthly newsletter is an insert detailing the Civil War Days of Hancock County ant the Vicinity which is complied and edited by Clyde Cucullu.
This year’s wooden boat rendezvous is the beginning of what we hope will be a successful campaign to raise money for our building project. In addition we hope to expand our program to document the maritime history of our area, and the important part it played in the growth of the Gulf Coast.
We would like for you to be a part of this adventure, and invite you to become a member of our society. The dues are only $12.00 a year, so please take the time to become a member today ! Artist & Art Dealers
This year's rendezvous will sponsor an Art Show -a great opportunity to show and sell your marine-related Art Work. Many wooden boat owners and enthusiasts collect marine-related art work to decorate their homes and ojfices.
Our booths are reasonably priced at $45.00 for a 15' by 15' booth and $90 for a 15' by 30' booth. In the past our festivals and rendezvous have seen attendance of 15 to 30 thousand people. We expect a large crowd because of our new location -

We have a limited number of booths so, Please reserve you space early, jf you have any questions, please give us a call.
A $20.00 submission fee per piece will be required, if a booth is not rented by the artist Submissions are limited to two pieces per artist
