REGARDING BROWN'S VINEYARD.

WHEN THE HOTEL CLOSE YOU TAKE THE BROWD TO BROWN'S VINEYARD, IF THEY HAD NO PIANO PLAYER I HAD TO GO. THATS HOW MY LIFE WAS IN THOSE DAYS. Did you play the piano and the peiole danced ? MRS BROWNS FAVORITE PIECE WAS MY PRETTY RED WING, AND MY MOTHER tee. I PLAYED ALL BY NOTE, I PLAYED	AND FAUST, MY FIRST MUSIC

How far up the Highway did it go from that point, Did it go up where the shopping
center is?
YES, WELL THE LAND, SOME OF IT, THEY HAD ALL THE SCUPPERNOG VINES IN THE YEXR YARD.
How big was the area where the vines were?
OH THEY HAD QUITE A NUMBER OF VINES, JUST HOW MANY ACRES I DON'T KNOW,
Qo /NOW, WHAT HAPPENED TO IT AFTER PROHIBITION? You know after they couldn't sell the / wine any more?
WELL, THEY BURIED IT, AND A FELLOW GAVE AWAY ON THEM AND REVENUE MAN COME AND DUG IT UP AND BROKE IT.
And they couldn't sell it any more? So what did they do?
Did they have to close it up?
OH YES MAN THAT WAS OVER WITH.
Then they sold it and someone bought the ground IT JUST WENT DOWN TO NOTHIN.
So it wasn't there after prohibition at all?
THEY DUG IT UP AND BROKE I DON'T KNOW HOW MANY BOTTLES OF WINE
